조각의 역사는 선사시대 단단한 점토와 돌을 재료로 한 형상 표현에서 시작되어, 거대한 석재 설치 작업에 이르기까지 인류 문명의 발전과 함께 끊임없이 확장되어 왔습니다.

이번 전시는 세계적으로 널리 알려진 문신의 흑단, 아르망의 브론즈, 신진 작가 김동현의 스테인리스 스틸 작품을 포함하여 15인 조각가들의 다양한 작품들로 구성되었습니다.

목조, 석조, 브론즈, 숯, 플라스틱, 스테인리스 스틸 등 다양한 재료와 기법을 아우르며, 조각이 담아내는 주제와 조형미를 폭넓게 경험할 수 있는 현대 조각전입니다.

The history of sculpture traces back to prehistoric times, beginning with simple forms shaped from hardened clay and stone. From these early expressions to monumental stone installations, sculpture has continually evolved alongside the development of human civilization.

This exhibition features a diverse selection of works by 15 sculptors, including globally renowned artists such as Moon Shin’s Ebony, Arman’s Bronze, and stainless steel works by emerging artist Kim Donghyun.

Spanning a wide range of materials and techniques—including wood, stone, bronze, charcoal, plastic, and stainless steel—this contemporary sculpture exhibition offers a rich exploration of form, subject, and the expressive possibilities of three-dimensional art.
