가을의 깊은 정취가 스며드는 계절, 저희 인사갤러리에서는 생명의 숨결을 화푝에 담아내는 한상희 작가의 Blessing 전을 마련하였습니다.

이번 전시는 칸초네 고전 리멘시타(L’immensità), “눈물 속에 새로운 꽃이 피어나고 그 꽃 위로 나비가 날아올 것을 믿어요.” 구절을 떠올리는 초현실적 정물화로 구성되어 있습니다. 서정시를 연상시키는 꽃을 중심으로, 행복, 부귀, 장수의 상징인 잉어, 나비, 사슴 등 철화분청과 분청사기의 문양들이 화병 밖으로 뛰쳐나와 노니는 듯한 구성이 돋보입니다. 화려하지만 덧없는 아름다움을 섬세한 묘사와 감각적인 색채로 표현한 만개한 꽃들과 밝은 생명체들을 통해 위로와 축복의 메세지를 전합니다.

As the deep sentiments of autumn settle in, Insa Gallery is pleased to present Blessing, a new exhibition by artist Han Sang-Hee, who captures the breath of life within her floral still-life compositions.

This exhibition features a series of surreal still lifes that evokes the classic Canzone L’immensità and its famous line, “I believe that a new flower will bloom in the midst of tears, and that a butterfly will rise above it.” Centered around lyrical, poem-like flowers, the works depict carp, butterflies, deer, and other motifs found in traditional iron-painted Buncheong pottery and Buncheong ceramics—symbols of happiness, prosperity, and longevity. These elements seem to leap out of the vases and roam freely across the canvas.

Through lavish yet fleeting blossoms and radiant living creatures rendered with delicate detail and vibrant color, the exhibition conveys a message of comfort and blessing.
