인사갤러리는 10월을 맞아 권혁, 김형길, 전찬훈, 루카스 랜킨, 폴킴 다섯 작가의 주요작과 신작을 위주로 Pareidolia, 파레이 돌리아 전시를 개최합니다.

파레이 돌리아, 변상증은 무작위 또는 시각적 패턴 속에서 특정한 때로는 연상되는 이미지를 인식하려는 현상입니다. 전시되는 다섯 작가의 작품들은 의식과 무의식적인 반복 행위를 통해 의도적이지만 우연적으로 얻어진 이미지를 암시하고 있으며, 감상자들의 상상력을 열어주고 찾아내려는 노력을 유도합니다. 또한 반복적인 모호한 형태 속에서 각기 지각되는 반응을 발견하며 패턴의 연속성 속에 숨어 있는 정교함을 느낄 수 있습니다. 많은 관심 부탁드립니다.

In October, “Pareidolia” exhibition will be held at Insa Gallery, showcasing major works and new pieces by five artists: Kwon Hyuk, Kim Hyung Gil, Jeon Chan Hoon, Lucas Rankin, and Paul Kim.

Pareidolia refers to the phenomenon of recognizing images, sometimes reminiscent of familiar ones, within random or visual patterns. The works of these five artists suggest images obtained both intentionally and accidentally through conscious and unconscious repetitive actions, encouraging viewers to open their imaginations and engage in the act of discovery. We invite you to observe their perceptual responses to recurring ambiguous forms and appreciate the intricacies hidden within the continuity of the patterns.
