이번 인사갤러리의 하우스 오브 아날로그 전에서는 섬세한 아날로그 방식으로 구현된 집과 동네의 아름다움, 그 고즈넉한 컬러를 전달하는 3명의 작가를 소개합니다.

루시드로잉, 임상희, 강지 이 세 명의 작가는 집과 동네는 사적이고 내밀한 공간이면서 과거와 현재, 우리의 삶을 단단히 연결해주는 매개체로 표현한다. 스쳐 지나가듯 얼핏 떠오른 미세한 감각에서부터 세심하고 꼼꼼한 기억의 복원이 시작되는 곳이 바로 집과 동네이기 때문이다. 이 기억의 복원은 바로 우리의 근원적이고 일상적이며 평온했던 시간을 찾는 과정이기도 하다. 똑같은 지하철, 늘 보는 사람들, 반복되는 업무들, 쳇바퀴처럼 무의미하게 반복되는 매일 속에서도 아무 일도 일어나지 않았다는, 나는 아직 무사하다는 사실을 알려주는 그것들이 바로 마침내 내가 도착한 동네, 집이기 때문이다.

Insa Gallery is pleased to present ‘House of Analog’ exhibition, introducing three artists who deliver the beauty of houses portrayed in delicate colors of analog paintings.

Three artists Lucy Drawing, Lim Sang-Hee, and Kang-Ji delightfully narrates houses and neighborhoods that are private and intimate spaces furthermore, mediators that firmly connect our lives from the past to the present. It is ‘home’ where detailed recollections start to flash back from vague memories. Restoring these memories could also be described as the process of finding inner peace from one’s true identities. Houses and neighborhoods are the places where we truly find comfort even from a repetitive ordinary routines such as the same subway scenery, the same people we see, and the same work we do everyday.
